The sheep pen is organizing a long walk to the Sprielderbos. Enjoy the special route and locations a nature guide will guide you along.

A brisk pace will be kept during the walk.

Saturday, April 2, from 10 AM to 4 PM, the Schaapskooi, a sheepfold in Ermelo, is hosting another Lambing Day. This is a festive day with lots of activities for all ages.

Everything revolves around the lambs born in the flock. These can be admired in the sheepfold with the mother sheep. On the grounds, there are sheep driving demonstrations, covered wagon tours across the moors, puppet shows, arts and crafts, and face painting. Of course, all kinds of delicacies are available, too. It is also possible to adopt a lamb in order to help preserve the Ermelo flock and sheepfold.

On Saturday December 17th, the traditional Veluwe Christmas market in the center of Ermelo provides the necessary atmosphere. Everyone is welcome again between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm to enjoy the many stalls in the Stationsstraat.

In addition to all Christmas and winter related items and products, there are also commercial stalls with all kinds of items. The entire village will be beautifully lit and there will be eye-catchers on various squares.

The Christmas market is in the pedestrian zone. There is plenty to eat and of course the mulled wine is not lacking either. Above all, it is a great opportunity to buy Christmas presents and to get a taste of the atmosphere around Christmas.
